Dr Angela Hawkins (BBiomedSci, MBBS, FRACGP) graduated from Medicine at Deakin after completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University. She loves travel health and women’s health, especially contraception and pregnancy planning. She can perform Implanon insertion and removal, minor surgical procedures, and is a Shared Maternity Care Affiliate.
When not working as a GP, she teaches medical students at the University of Melbourne, and spends time with her husband and two young sons. She survives on coffee, baking and starting new projects in the garden.
